Five Levies Personnel Dismissed in Nushki After Checkpost Attack

Quetta:On the strict directives of Director General Balochistan Levies Force, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, five Levies personnel have been dismissed from service in Nushki. The action comes in response to a recent terrorist attack on a Levies checkpost in the Kishingi area of Nushki.

Following the incident, DG Abdul Ghaffar Magsi took serious notice and issued immediate orders for disciplinary action. Acting upon these orders, the Deputy Commissioner of Nushki dismissed the five personnel under the Balochistan Levies Force Disciplinary Rules 2015.

The dismissed personnel were found guilty of negligence, cowardice, and irresponsibility during the attack—failures deemed a serious breach of security. The dismissed officials are:

* Mohammad Khan, Risaldar
* Shoukat Ali, son of Mohammad Azam, Sepoy
* Siraj Ahmed, son of Noor Ahmed, Sepoy
* Mohammad Tayyab, son of Abdul Hameed, Sepoy
* Mohammad Naeem, son of Abdul Rehman, Sepoy

During the terrorist attack, the assailants seized official weapons and set a government vehicle on fire. The Levies personnel failed to resist, prompting this decisive disciplinary action.

The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed that negligence and irresponsibility within security institutions will not be tolerated, and reforms are underway to enhance the effectiveness of the Levies Force.
