Karachi: Court Issues Notice on Bail Plea in Rs. 50 Million Theft Case

Karachi: A judicial magistrate in South Karachi has issued a notice to the prosecutor on a bail plea filed by a domestic worker accused in a high-profile theft case involving Rs. 50 million.
During the hearing, the court was informed that the accused, Shehnaz, along with her son and other accomplices, allegedly committed a major theft at her employer’s residence. The case is being heard in the court of the Judicial Magistrate South.
Shehnaz’s lawyer submitted a formal request for bail, prompting the court to issue a notice to the prosecution for a response.
According to the prosecution, Shehnaz, her son Asif, and another accused, Hammad, are all currently in judicial custody as investigations continue.
