Alia Hamza Says Her Appointment Notification Should Be Issued After Meeting Imran Khan

Islamabad: PTI leader Alia Hamza has stated that she wants her appointment notification to be issued only after her meeting with Imran Khan. Speaking to journalists in Islamabad, Hamza emphasized that positions are not important to her; her main priority is to work for the party.
She further shared that she has prepared a comprehensive performance report for the party in Punjab, which includes detailed data on each constituency. The report will be presented to Imran Khan once it is complete. Hamza mentioned that a report for the foundation day has also been compiled, and it takes two days to prepare a report for one constituency. She added that they have data about who supported the party during difficult times and who did not.
Regarding the current political situation, Hamza stated that PTI would convene an All Parties Conference (APC) in Punjab, where a formal protest will be announced. She also acknowledged the ongoing disagreements within the party but clarified that there are no fundamental differences.
She highlighted the importance of party discipline and emphasized her respect for both Barrister Gohar and Salman Akram Raja, who are significant figures in the party. She also noted that upon taking up her position in Punjab, she was tasked with uniting the province and resolving internal divisions.
Hamza reaffirmed her stance on national security, stating that the security lapse in India was responsible for the Pahalgam incident, and reiterated that PTI does not support any form of terrorism.
In conclusion, Hamza asserted that the “Minus Imran Khan” formula will never succeed within PTI, adding that no important meetings are held without Imran Khan’s presence. She expressed confidence in the party’s popularity, saying that PTI remains the most popular party in the country, with the government waiting for its leadership.
