Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Warns India: “Any Attack Will Be Met with Unwavering Response”

Karachi: In a stern address at the passing-out parade of the 123rd Midshipmen and 31st Short Service Commission (SSC) course at PNS Rahbar in Karachi, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, declared that any further attack by India would be met with a swift and unhesitating response from Pakistan. He stated that India’s attempts to gain political leverage through military power, nationalism, and a fabricated strategic significance would not go unnoticed.
Field Marshal Munir emphasized that the relationship between the public, government, and armed forces was critical for the country’s progress. He further added that Pakistan, while desiring peace for the region, would never compromise on its defense and would ensure the safety of its sovereignty at all costs.
He said, “We seek dialogue for peace in the region, but make no mistake, we will defend ourselves and ensure the security of our land, come what may.”
He highlighted that Pakistan’s military response to India’s aggression had strengthened national pride and humbled India’s arrogance. He also stated that despite the rising challenges of maritime warfare in the region, Pakistan’s future remained bright.
Field Marshal Munir reminded the gathering that India had committed reckless acts of war, launching attacks on Pakistan twice under the pretext of asserting its military strength and nationalist ideology. He warned that such actions were driven by India’s desire to gain political benefits through its false strategic importance.
He went on to say, “Pakistan’s robust response has prevented the region from falling into a major conflict. Despite India’s provocations, Pakistan has shown patience and responsibility, prioritizing peace. Today, Pakistan is recognized as a ‘Net Regional Stabilizer’ in the region.”
Reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve, he declared, “If the enemy thinks that Pakistan will tolerate attacks on its sovereignty, it is gravely mistaken. Any challenge to our sovereignty will bear consequences for the aggressor, and such an action will pose a serious threat to the entire region.”
Field Marshal Munir stressed that Pakistan would defend its sovereignty and national interests without hesitation, regardless of the cost. He also reiterated that Pakistan was prepared to protect its land at any price.
Addressing the ongoing Kashmir issue, he stated, “India will never forget the battle for justice and the defeat it suffered. We stand with the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of self-determination. Peace in the region is impossible without resolving the Kashmir issue. This issue cannot be suppressed; it must be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.”
He concluded by saying, “Our national spirit has grown even stronger through challenges. Today, we are more resolute and stronger than ever. We will bring the war against terrorism to a logical conclusion.”
