Karachi Set to Experience Heavy Rain as Monsoon Hits City

Karachi:The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted a much-needed break for Karachi’s residents as the city braces for a monsoon spell starting tomorrow evening. Meteorologist Anjum Nazir stated that the first monsoon system will bring rain to Karachi from Friday to Sunday, with Saturday expected to witness continuous downpours throughout the day.**
**According to Nazir, the rain will be intermittent but heavy at times, increasing the risk of urban flooding in the city on Saturday. The rainfall will continue on Sunday with breaks in between.**
**Additionally, Nazir explained that a low-pressure area over Gujarat, India, is expected to further enhance rainfall in Sindh, raising concerns about urban flooding in several cities.**
**As for today, temperatures in Karachi are expected to reach a maximum of 35°C, while areas like Badin, Thatta, and Mirpurkhas might experience rain.**
**Citizens are advised to remain cautious as the weather pattern develops, especially in flood-prone areas.**
