KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur Seeks Permission to Meet Imran Khan from Supreme Court

Islamabad:The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has approached the Supreme Court seeking permission to meet PTI founder Imran Khan. Gandapur appeared before Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s court, requesting approval for the meeting. Justice Mansoor, however, directed him to approach Chief Justice Yahiya Afridi, who is currently in Lahore.
Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court, Ali Amin Gandapur stated that he had been trying to meet Imran Khan for several days at the latter’s request. He revealed that Imran Khan had also written a letter to the Supreme Court, attaching evidence related to the case. According to Gandapur, Chief Justice Yahiya Afridi had made favorable remarks about the letter, but no action had been taken yet.
Gandapur further claimed that despite repeated requests, they had not been allowed to meet the PTI founder, suggesting a conspiracy was at play against them. He also mentioned that the ongoing budget approval process in the assembly was critical, and the PTI budget committee would meet with the party’s founder soon.
This development highlights ongoing political tensions and the continued efforts by PTI leaders to engage with Imran Khan while navigating the judicial and legislative systems.
