Lahore High Court Dismisses Bail Pleas of PTI Founder in Eight May 9 Cases

Lahore: The Lahore High Court has announced its reserved verdict on the bail petitions filed by the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in connection with eight cases related to the May 9 incidents.
According to private news channel Dunya News, the court has dismissed the bail pleas in eight out of nine cases filed against the former Prime Minister. The decision was delivered by a two-member bench headed by Justice Shehbaz Rizvi.
It is worth noting that the court had reserved its judgment after hearing arguments from the legal counsels of both parties a day earlier.
The PTI founder, Imran Khan, is facing multiple charges, including those related to the arson and vandalism incidents at Jinnah House and Askari Tower following his arrest in May 2023.
