Pakistan Recommends Donald Trump for 2026 Nobel Peace Prize Over Role in Preventing India-Pakistan War

Pakistan’s government emphasized that **Trump’s diplomatic intervention** played a critical role in de-escalating the tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, particularly during the recent crisis between **Pakistan and India**. The recommendation for the **Nobel Peace Prize** was made in light of President Trump’s efforts to ease the **Pak-India conflict**.

In a statement, the Pakistani government acknowledged the **unprovoked and illegal aggression by India**, which violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It noted that the **Indian aggression** led to the loss of **innocent lives**, including those of **women and children**.
