Blawal Bhutto Zardari Warns India: “Accept Indus Waters Treaty or Face War

Karachi:Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)** Chairman **Bilawal Bhutto Zardari** has warned India that it must adhere to the **Indus Waters Treaty** or face another war, after which all six rivers of the Indus system will belong to Pakistan. Bilawal’s statement came after his return to Pakistan from a tour of the **United States** and **Europe**, where he was received by PPP leaders and workers at **Karachi Airport**.

In a speech delivered to party workers, Bilawal said, “India is seven times larger than Pakistan, but despite that, the Pakistan Army delivered a crushing defeat to them. After losing the war, India attempted to defeat Pakistan on the diplomatic front, but it failed. We won that diplomatic war as well.”

Bilawal further added that Pakistan stood with the truth while India stood with lies. “Our narrative won on global media, and India lost. We have always raised the voice of **Kashmiris**, and we will continue to do so,” he remarked.

He recalled that during the **PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf)** government, India had attacked **Kashmir**, and at the time, the then Prime Minister had said, “What should I do?” However, when **Asif Ali Zardari**, the President of Pakistan, and **Shahbaz Sharif**, the Prime Minister, were in power, Pakistan gave India a fitting response. In a recent conflict, Pakistan downed **six Indian aircraft**, which the world acknowledged, but India initially denied. “Now, they have admitted it,” Bilawal said.

On the issue of the **Indus Waters Treaty**, Bilawal declared that India must honor the agreement, or Pakistan would be forced to fight another war. “Water from the **Indus River** flows from **Kashmir** to **Karachi**, and it has been flowing for centuries even before the creation of Pakistan. We know how to defend our rivers,” he emphasized.

Bilawal also took aim at political opponents, calling them “political orphans” who often sow discord between provinces. He questioned where these opponents were when **India** attacked **Sindh**’s waters, accusing them of staying silent while the **PPP** fought to protect Pakistan’s interests. “These political orphans have always had India’s backing. After four years, we will defeat them again in the elections,” he said.

On a diplomatic note, Bilawal expressed pride in Pakistan’s role in combating **terrorism**, stating that Pakistan’s **military** was on the frontlines in the fight against terrorism, and the world acknowledged it. He pointed out that India’s vast investment in creating a false narrative against Pakistan had not succeeded.

“**SIndhu** (Indus) is a matter of life and death for us. We will continue to defend it. If we are forced, we are ready for war,” Bilawal declared, adding, “We will make India comply with the **Indus Waters Treaty** or return the six rivers to Pakistan.”

The PPP Chairman concluded by thanking his diplomatic team for their tireless efforts during their tour, emphasizing that over **70 meetings** were held, and Pakistan’s struggle for its rights would continue.
