Daily Mango Consumption Found Beneficial for Heart Health, New Study Reveals

Islamabad: A recent American study has revealed that regular consumption of mangoes may significantly reduce the risk of heart disease, particularly in women suffering from obesity and high blood pressure.
The study focused on women aged 50 to 70 who were already experiencing heart-related conditions such as high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol levels. Participants were instructed to consume 350 grams of mango daily for a period of two weeks.
Blood tests conducted during the study showed a noticeable reduction in systolic blood pressure just two hours after mango consumption. Additionally, there was an improvement in arterial stiffness and an average decrease of 13 points in cholesterol levels among the participants.
These findings suggest that incorporating mangoes into a daily diet could be a natural and effective way to support cardiovascular health, especially in aging women facing metabolic health challenges.
