PTI Reaches Out to PPP to Boycott Budget Vote

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has reached out to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), urging them to join in boycotting the upcoming budget vote in the National Assembly.
PTI leader Asad Qaiser met PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf at the Parliament House, where he referenced recent statements made by PPP indicating their dissatisfaction with the budget.
During the meeting, Asad Qaiser said, “We have heard PPP’s statements about boycotting the budget. If the PPP is serious, they should stand with PTI and jointly boycott the voting.”
In response, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf assured that he would convey PTI’s proposal to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He added that Bilawal Bhutto is expected to arrive at Parliament today, and he would consult with him regarding the matter.
