Three Young Men Drown at Hawksbay Beach in Karachi

Karachi: Three young men tragically drowned while swimming at Hawksbay Beach near Sandspit, Karachi. The incident occurred due to high waves that caught the swimmers off guard.
According to reports, the three young men were swimming near Sandspit H-67 when the strong waves swept them away. A swift rescue operation was launched by lifeguards and the Edhi Marine Services team. The police also arrived at the scene to assist with the rescue efforts.
During the operation, one of the victims was pulled out of the water in an unconscious state, while the body of another young man was recovered. The search for the third individual continues as part of an ongoing rescue operation by the lifeguards and Edhi Marine Services.
The unconscious victim and the deceased have been transferred to Civil Hospital for legal formalities. The unconscious young man is reported to be in critical condition. The body of the drowned individual has also been moved to the hospital.
SHO Maari Port, Sardaar Abbasi, confirmed the identities of the victims, identifying the deceased as Ali Hassan and the unconscious individual as Farhan Shah. The third missing person was identified as Jamil Naveed. All three men were residents of North Karachi and had come to Hawksbay for a picnic when the tragic incident occurred.
The search for the third missing young man is still underway.
