Sheikh Rashid: Pakistan Should Stand with Iran, as the Country is in the Right

Rawalpindi: Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has stated that Iran is in the right and Pakistan should openly support the country in its ongoing conflict.
Speaking to the media outside the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi, Sheikh Rashid condemned Israel’s attack on Iran, calling it a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. He reiterated that the Israeli actions were illegal and unjustified.
Rashid emphasized that the Pakistani nation condemns Israel’s aggression against Iran, and that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with Iran in this struggle. He stated, “The Muslims of Pakistan are united with Iran against Israel,” adding, “Every child in Pakistan is with Iran, and Iran has every right to respond.”
On another note, Sheikh Rashid criticized the national budget, stating that it is not a budget for the poor, as even the government admits it is largely reliant on loans.
