Good News for Karachiites: Weather Department Predicts Rain Relief from Scorching Heat

Karachi: While the residents of Karachi have been enduring intense heat, a piece of good news has emerged for them. The Pakistan Meteorological Department’s Early Warning Center has forecasted light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Karachi on Monday.
According to meteorological experts, a western weather system is moving towards the upper regions of the country, bringing moist winds into the eastern parts of Sindh, including Karachi.
Experts also predict rain with thunderstorms in certain areas of Tharparkar and Umerkot districts today. Similarly, partial cloudiness and occasional rain are expected in areas like Ghotki, Sukkur, Jacobabad, and Qamber Shahdadkot.
The weather experts have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during the extreme heat and to take precautions ahead of the expected rainfall. With this weather shift, temperatures are expected to drop, and the overall weather is likely to become more pleasant.
