Jamaat-e-Islami Urges Pakistan to Provide Full Defense Support to Iran Against Israeli Aggression

Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has called on the Government of Pakistan to extend all possible defense support to Iran in the wake of unprovoked Israeli attacks. The demand was made during a meeting of JI’s central consultative body (Majlis-e-Shura), currently underway in Lahore under the leadership of JI Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, with members participating from across the country.
During the session, a strongly worded resolution condemning the Israeli attack on Iran was unanimously passed. The resolution urged all Muslim nations to unite and adopt a collective stance against Israeli aggression, emphasizing that such unity is essential to end Israeli dominance in the region.
The resolution declared Israel an illegitimate state and described its aggressive actions as a cancer threatening the stability of the entire region. Expressing full solidarity with the Iranian government and people, Jamaat-e-Islami demanded that Pakistan support Iran in ensuring its security and defense.
The session further stressed that the only effective response to Israeli hostilities is Muslim unity, urging Islamic countries to set aside internal differences and take a joint stand. The newly elected Majlis-e-Shura is scheduled to continue its three-day session.
