Mai Kolachi and M.T. Khan Roads Closed for Traffic Ahead of Youm-e-Quds Rally

KARACHI — Mai Kolachi Road and M.T. Khan Road have been closed to traffic in Karachi ahead of the Youm-e-Quds rally, officials said.

According to the Karachi Traffic Police, the roads were closed for security reasons. Both directions of traffic from Boot Basin, Jinnah Bridge, and Mai Kolachi Road have been blocked. Similarly, traffic from PIDC to Jinnah Bridge and M.T. Khan Road has also been restricted.

The traffic police spokesperson advised commuters to take alternative routes due to the closures. Traffic coming from Boot Basin towards Mai Kolachi is being redirected via a U-turn, while vehicles from PIDC towards Jinnah Bridge are being sent toward Khajoor Chowk from Jinnah Bridge is being diverted to I.I. Chundrigar Road.

Authorities urged citizens to follow the designated detours to avoid congestion and ensure smooth movement during the rally.
