Senator Sherry Rehman Criticizes Indian Delegation’s Agenda During UK Visit

LONDON – Senator Sherry Rehman, a key member of Pakistan’s high-level diplomatic delegation, has expressed concerns over the Indian delegation’s unclear agenda during their recent discussions. In a media briefing in London, she stated that the Indian delegation’s objectives were unclear and failed to achieve any meaningful outcomes.

Rehman further mentioned that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts would focus on briefing British authorities in detail about India’s tactics and actions. She emphasized that the Indian delegation had come to the UK seeking to gather statements against Pakistan, but was unsuccessful in doing so.

During her remarks, Rehman also highlighted that Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would be engaging with British think tanks and media outlets over the course of three days to strengthen Pakistan’s diplomatic presence and address key issues.

Earlier, Pakistan’s diplomatic delegation, led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, had traveled to the United States, where they held meetings with UN representatives, members of the U.S. Congress, and other government officials. Following their successful engagements in the U.S., the delegation has now arrived in the United Kingdom as part of their ongoing diplomatic outreach.

This visit underscores Pakistan’s efforts to counter India’s narrative on the international stage while promoting the country’s diplomatic and geopolitical interests.
