PML-N Set to Lose Key Member as Zubair Umar Likely to Join PTI

Islamabad: A major political shift is on the horizon as senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former spokesperson for Nawaz Sharif, Zubair Umar, is expected to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to sources, consultations regarding Zubair Umar’s inclusion in PTI have been finalized with the party’s Patron-in-Chief, Imran Khan. Senior PTI leadership has confirmed that Imran Khan has given the green signal for the move.
An official announcement is expected to be made after Eid, making Zubair Umar a formal member of the PTI ranks. The development is being viewed as a significant blow to the PML-N, which has already been grappling with internal challenges.
