PTI Leader Raoof Hasan Alleges Constitutional Routes Blocked, Peaceful Protest Movement to Be Launched

Lahore:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader **Raoof Hasan** has claimed that **all constitutional and legal avenues have been closed** for the party, stressing that the tightening grip on PTI is **not a recent issue** but the result of a **three-year-long experience**.
Speaking on Express News’ program *Statecraft*, Raoof Hasan said,
> “Day by day, the noose is tightening. In such circumstances, **a peaceful protest movement** is the only option left for any political party. Imran Khan has already instructed the party to launch this movement, and its **structure and details will soon be shared with the public.**”
Political analyst **Hafeezullah Niazi** weighed in, saying it is difficult to decode Imran Khan’s messages,
> “Some of his statements are very clear, while others are indirect. The problem is that **Imran Khan appears to lack decisiveness**. He seems to want to walk both the paths of confrontation and reconciliation at the same time.”
Niazi stressed that **Khan must choose a single, clear direction**, or the party risks further political stagnation.
Analyst **Athar Kazmi** added,
> “It’s hard to judge which narrative is accurate. What we do know is that **Imran Khan has been incarcerated for two years**, and **his political deadlock with the establishment and government continues unresolved**. The bigger question is not just which path Imran Khan chooses, but also **which path the state and its institutions intend to take.**”
As PTI prepares to mobilize once again, political observers warn that **both clarity and strategy** will be essential for the opposition party’s next steps in an increasingly complex and polarized political landscape.
