TikToker Erica Haq Claims Some Influencers Deliberately Leak Explicit Videos for Fame

Pakistani TikToker and model **Erica Haq** has made a bold statement, alleging that **some TikTokers are deliberately leaking their own explicit videos** in an attempt to gain **fame and viral attention** on social media.
In a recent interview, Erica spoke candidly about what she described as a **growing and troubling trend** in the influencer community. She claimed that a few content creators **intentionally release inappropriate videos** to attract media coverage and public curiosity.
> “Previously, couples used to go viral by making videos together, but now that trend is fading. Some girls are looking for new ways to gain instant recognition,” Erica said.
> “While this isn’t common practice, there have been **a few clear cases where the leaks appear to be intentional.**”
Erica clarified that she **does not believe all victims are complicit**, adding,
> “I used to think all these girls were being wronged, but now I feel some of them may be doing this knowingly. Still, **the majority of cases are genuine and deeply concerning.**”
The TikToker emphasized her own cautious approach to social media, stating she has **never made videos with male content creators** and prioritizes her **reputation and character** above quick fame.
> “I’ve never felt pressure to gain views by compromising my values,” she added.
The discussion comes amid a wave of **alleged leaked videos involving various TikTok personalities**, including **Manahil Malik, Sajal Malik, Samia Hijab, Amsha Rehman, and Aliza Sehr**, sparking debates about **privacy, ethics, and the limits of digital fame** in Pakistan’s influencer culture.
Erica’s comments have stirred reactions online, with some praising her honesty while others call for more sensitivity when addressing such personal controversies.
