Imran Khan Becomes PTI’s Patron-in-Chief, to Personally Lead Nationwide Protests: Barrister Gohar

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has announced that party founder Imran Khan has decided to personally lead a nationwide protest movement, declaring that all political and legal avenues have now been closed for him.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar stated that Imran Khan will spearhead the protest campaign himself, and all related directives will be issued through PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub.
According to Barrister Gohar, while no timeline has yet been set for the launch of the protest movement, Imran Khan has made it clear that he will now serve as PTI’s Patron-in-Chief, taking charge of all major party decisions moving forward.
The PTI chairman clarified that the leadership of the protest will not be handed over to Ali Amin Gandapur. He also strongly condemned the alleged rigging in the recent Sialkot (Sambrial) by-election.
Barrister Gohar concluded by stating that while he will continue to fulfill his responsibilities as PTI chairman, the authority for final decision-making will now rest solely with Imran Khan.
