Hamid Mir Claims: “Imran Khan Had Three Chances to Walk Free, Refused to Make a Deal

Islamabad:Senior journalist Hamid Mir has made a startling revelation regarding former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s incarceration. Speaking on a recent program, Mir stated that Imran Khan had at least three opportunities over the past two years to secure his release, most notably between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on November 26, 2024.
“It’s entirely within Imran Khan’s power to walk out — he had chances. But he refused to strike a deal,” Hamid Mir said, adding that the former premier deliberately chose not to compromise despite having viable offers.
Mir further revealed that Imran Khan had expressed a desire to meet him during this time, and even requested his name be added to the official visitor list multiple times. However, according to Mir, government authorities — who control access to such meetings — did not permit the encounter to take place.
