Hyundai Nishat Announces Hike in Freight Charges Across Multiple Models

Lahore, Pakistan:Hyundai Nishat Motors (Private) Limited** has officially announced an increase in **freight charges** for several of its popular vehicle models, effective from **June 1, 2025**. The change, disclosed through an internal circular dated **May 19, 2025**, applies to **all vehicles invoiced on or after June 1**.
The company has confirmed a **flat Rs. 15,000 increase** in freight charges across the following models:
* **Hyundai Porter**
* **Elantra Hybrid**
* **Tucson Hybrid**
* **Sonata**
* **Santa Fe Hybrid**
This adjustment is said to be part of a broader strategy to **manage rising logistics and delivery costs** and ensure **consistent service quality** across the country.
Hyundai has instructed its **dealer principals and sales teams** to update their internal systems and workflows accordingly. Sales personnel have been advised to remain in close contact with **Area Sales Managers** for ongoing guidance during the transition.
Additionally, **all variants of the Hyundai Porter** will see this freight charge increase applied across the board starting today.
The company emphasized that this step was necessary due to **escalating transportation and operational expenses**, aiming to maintain **efficient vehicle delivery and service coverage** nationwide.
