20 Kg Gold Missing from Lahore’s Jeweler Market, Another Case Filed Against Sheikh Wasim

Lahore: The case of the alleged embezzlement of 20 kilograms of gold from Achhra Jeweler Market has taken a more serious turn. Police have filed another case of breach of trust against the suspect, Sheikh Wasim, and expanded the investigation to include fraud and other related aspects.

According to police, the new case was filed by a citizen named Noor Al-Ain, alleging that the suspect absconded with gold worth PKR 900 million. Samaa has obtained Sheikh Wasim’s travel history, showing trips to Malaysia, Bangkok, Dubai, and various cities in Saudi Arabia.

Authorities revealed that Sheikh Wasim made his last phone call at 11:26 PM before switching off his mobile, and the recipient of that call has also been included in the investigation. SP Model Town Shahr Bano Naqvi stated that the investigation uncovered that the suspect was using three vehicles, one of which was recently transferred to another person’s name.

Police emphasized that investigations are ongoing to uncover all facts, and every aspect of the case is being thoroughly examined.
