Fake Army Major Arrested in Khairpur for Robbing Locals in Uniform

Khairpur – Police in Khairpur’s Faiz Ganj area have arrested a man impersonating an army major, along with his accomplice, in a swift operation that exposed a major fraud scheme targeting local citizens.
According to media reports, the suspect dressed in a Pakistan Army uniform and posed as a military officer to deceive and extort money from the public. Authorities revealed that the impostor had allegedly looted millions of rupees from residents over time.
Local sources reported that the duo would illegally stop vehicles and extort Rs. 10,000 per car under false pretenses. They are believed to have collected large sums through this deceptive practice, targeting both drivers and passengers.


During the arrest, police recovered weapons from the suspects, raising further concerns about the seriousness of their criminal activities. Both individuals are currently in custody, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine whether more people were involved in the scam.
Residents of the area have expressed their gratitude to the police for their timely action and demanded strict punishment for the culprits. Locals emphasized that harsh penalties are necessary to deter such fraudulent acts in the future and protect innocent citizens from falling prey to uniformed impostors.
