Top 10 Countries Sending the Most Pilgrims for Hajj 2025 Announced

Islamabad – The list of countries allocated the highest number of Hajj pilgrims for 2025 has been released, based on the official quotas set by Saudi Arabia.
According to the allocation, the top 10 countries sending the most pilgrims this year are:
Indonesia – 221,000 pilgrims
As the country with the world’s largest Muslim population, Indonesia has received the highest Hajj quota.
Pakistan – 180,000 pilgrims
Pakistan holds the second-largest quota, reflecting its substantial Muslim population.
India – 175,000 pilgrims
India has been allocated the third-highest quota in accordance with its large Muslim demographic.
Bangladesh – 127,000 pilgrims
Bangladesh ranks fourth in terms of the number of pilgrims permitted.
Nigeria – 95,000 pilgrims
Nigeria’s fifth-place ranking highlights the significant size of its Muslim community, especially in Africa.
Iran – 87,550 pilgrims
Iran follows with the sixth-largest allocation based on its population.
Algeria – 41,300 pilgrims
Algeria has received the seventh-highest quota, reflecting its importance in the Muslim world, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa.
Turkey – 37,770 pilgrims
Turkey comes in eighth, with a quota consistent with its Muslim population size.
Egypt – 35,375 pilgrims
Egypt has been given the ninth-largest quota, underlining its role in North Africa.
Sudan – 32,000 pilgrims
Sudan rounds out the top ten, with a significant allocation reflecting its Muslim population.
These quotas are based on agreements and population metrics and are managed annually by Saudi Arabia to facilitate the organization and safety of Hajj pilgrims.
