Karachi:The **Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)** has forecast **hot and dry weather** for **Karachi** and most districts of **Sindh** today, with **intense heat** expected to continue in **southern and central regions** of the country.
According to the latest weather advisory:
* **Most parts of the country** will remain under the grip of **hot and dry conditions**, particularly in **plain areas** where temperatures may soar to **extremely high levels**.
* **Karachi** and **southern Sindh** are likely to experience **severe heat**, with **no significant relief** expected during the day.
### Rain Expected in Northern Regions:
While southern regions brace for heat, **northern parts of Pakistan** may experience **dust storms, thunderstorms, and rain**, particularly in:
* **Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**
* **Islamabad**
* **Potohar region**
* **Northeastern Punjab**
* **Kashmir**
* **Gilgit-Baltistan**
There is also a chance of **heavy rainfall and hailstorms** at isolated locations in these areas.
The PMD has advised residents to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and take precautions during possible storms in northern regions.
