Four Quetta Residents Killed in Horrific Truck-Car Collision in Uthal

Uthal, Lasbela District – A devastating road accident near the Pakistan Coast Guards checkpoint on the National Highway in Uthal claimed the lives of four individuals from Quetta on Friday. According to reports, a speeding truck collided head-on with a car coming from the opposite direction. The collision was so severe that all occupants of the car died on the spot.
Rescue teams arrived promptly at the scene and shifted the deceased to District Headquarters Hospital Uthal. The victims were identified as Imran Ali, Ali Raza, Ramzan Ali, and an unidentified person. All were residents of Quetta.
Police and relevant authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. After legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the families. The tragic incident has left the community in mourning.
Eyewitnesses noted that overspeeding on the National Highway frequently leads to such fatal accidents. They emphasized the urgent need for effective traffic control measures and the dualization of the highway. Local citizens have called on the government to take immediate action to prevent further tragedies.
