Flight from Islamabad to Quetta Makes Emergency Landing After Passenger Suffers Heart Attack

Islamabad: A flight en route from New Islamabad International Airport to Quetta was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff when a passenger suffered a sudden heart attack mid-air.
According to sources, the flight had only recently departed from Islamabad when the medical emergency occurred. The pilot immediately contacted air traffic control and made the decision to return to Islamabad.
The aircraft landed safely back at Islamabad Airport, where the affected passenger was swiftly transported to the trauma center for urgent medical care. A team of doctors is currently attending to the patient.
