DG Balochistan Levies Suspends 62 Officials Over Corruption, Bribery Allegations Across 18 Districts

Director General of Balochistan Levies Force, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, has enforced a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and bribery within the force. In a major crackdown, 62 personnel from 18 districts have been suspended on charges of misconduct, bribery, and negligence of duty.
The suspended officials include risaldars, naib risaldars, daffadars, havaldars, sepoys, and drivers. These individuals were stationed in Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Chaman, Kachhi, Khuzdar, Musakhel, Barkhan, Sherani, Loralai, Zhob, Sibi, Washuk, Chagai, Jhal Magsi, Mastung, Surab, Panjgur, and Nushki.
DG Magsi emphasized that there is no place for corrupt elements in the force and affirmed that strict action will be taken against those found guilty. “All personnel must carry out their duties with honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility, or face strict disciplinary measures,” he stated.
To ensure a transparent investigation, Dr. Mir Waiz Khan, Director (Admin/Finance), has been appointed as the inquiry officer. He has been tasked with submitting a detailed report within 15 days.
The move has been widely seen as a step toward improving accountability and restoring public trust in the Balochistan Levies Force.
