Intermediate Exams Postponed in Karachi Due to Youm-e-Takbeer Holiday, Rescheduled for May 30

The **Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK)** has officially announced the **postponement of exams scheduled for May 28, 2025**, in light of the **Sindh Government’s declaration of Youm-e-Takbeer as a public holiday**. The decision was made under the direction of **Chairman Ghulam Hussain Soho**, according to a statement by the board’s spokesperson.

The affected exams will now be held on **Friday, May 30, 2025**, at the **same examination centers** and **revised times**, with no changes to venues or admit cards.

### **Revised Exam Schedule:**

* **Botany Paper-I (Science Pre-Medical & Science General Groups)**
Originally scheduled for **May 28, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM**,
Now rescheduled for **May 30, same timing**.

* **English Normal Paper-I** and **English Advanced Paper-I (for failed candidates)**
Originally scheduled for **May 28, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM**,
Now rescheduled for **May 30, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM**.

The board has **urged all students** to appear at their assigned centers **with the same admit cards (entry slips)** issued earlier, as **no changes have been made to center allocations**.

Students and parents are advised to stay updated through official BIEK channels for any further announcements.
