Mob Kills Suspected Robber in Karachi’s Orangi Town; Police Launch Investigation

KARACHI:A suspected robber was beaten to death by an enraged mob near **Gaddafi Chowk** in **Orangi Town** late Sunday, after allegedly attempting an armed robbery. According to eyewitnesses, local residents overpowered the man while he was trying to commit a crime at gunpoint and subjected him to **severe physical assault** using sticks, stones, and fists.

The unidentified man, believed to be around **35 years old**, succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Rescue officials from **Edhi Foundation** arrived shortly after the incident and shifted the body to **Abbasi Shaheed Hospital** for legal formalities. The body was later moved to the **Edhi morgue** for identification, and efforts are underway to trace the deceased’s family.
