PTI’s Barrister Saif Slams CM Maryam Nawaz Over Modi Remarks, Calls It “Open Modi Sympathizing

Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Information Adviser, Barrister Saif, has issued a scathing response to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s recent remarks, accusing her of favoring Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over her own countrymen.

Reacting sharply, Barrister Saif said, *“Calling India less harmful than PTI is nothing but an expression of blatant Modi sympathizing.”* He accused Maryam Nawaz of undermining national unity by downplaying the crimes of a known terrorist like Narendra Modi and instead targeting a domestic political party.

“This statement is not against PTI,” he said, “it is in favor of Modi.”

He further questioned Maryam Nawaz’s credibility by referencing her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, stating, *“What can one expect from the daughter of a man who has never uttered a single word against Modi?”* He added that Maryam should not try to repay Modi’s visit to Jati Umra at the cost of disrespecting the blood of Pakistani martyrs.

Barrister Saif also criticized the Sharif family’s silence during moments of heightened Indo-Pak tensions, calling it *“laughable hypocrisy”* for them to attack PTI while remaining quiet on Indian aggression.

“Maryam Nawaz must answer to the nation for her criminal silence on Pak-India hostilities,” he said, adding that the Sharif family’s consistent silence is proof that their personal relationships are more important to them than national interest.
