International Airlines Resume Overflights Through Pakistan’s Airspace

Islamabad:International overflight activity through Pakistan’s airspace has returned to normal, according to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA). Officials confirmed that major carriers including Swiss, German, and British airlines have resumed their use of Pakistani air routes.

However, **Air France continues to avoid Pakistan’s airspace**, citing ongoing security concerns. The airline’s flights departing from Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai are still taking extended routes to bypass Pakistani territory.

Civil Aviation officials reassured that **Pakistan’s airspace is completely safe**, and that all air traffic services are being provided in accordance with international aviation standards. The PCAA has emphasized that security protocols and navigation systems remain fully operational, aiming to restore full confidence among all global carriers.
