Government of Balochistan Spokesperson Shahid Rind Condemns Cowardly Attack on Levies in Khuzdar

QUETTA:The spokesperson for the Government of Balochistan, Shahid Rand, has strongly condemned the armed attack on a Levies check-post in the Samand area of Khuzdar, describing it as an assault on the state’s authority that will not be tolerated under any circumstances. In a statement issued to the media, he said that such cowardly acts of terrorism will not demoralize the people of Balochistan or the state institutions.

Shahid Rand termed the martyrdom of four Levies personnel in the attack as a national tragedy, asserting that these brave soldiers have made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of their homeland and will remain immortal in the hearts of the nation. “Their sacrifice is a symbol of bravery and dedication that the entire nation takes pride in,” he said.

The spokesperson further assured that the Government of Balochistan stands in solidarity with the families of the martyrs and will provide them with all necessary support. He reiterated the commitment of the provincial government to bring those responsible for the attack to justice as soon as possible. “The perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice, and Balochistan’s land will be made inhospitable for peace enemies,” Rand said.

Shahid Rand also emphasized that the provincial government will not allow any attempts to disrupt the peace and stability of Balochistan to succeed, and state institutions will continue their operations against terrorism with full force. He concluded by reaffirming the government’s resolve to protect the people of Balochistan and maintain law and order in the region.
