Dr. Malik Baloch Emphasizes Strengthening Democracy and Political Stability in Balochistan

QUETTA:The central president of the National Party and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr. Malik Baloch, stated that the end of national subjugation and class oppression is not possible without a well-organized political party. He emphasized that the National Party is playing a pivotal role in uniting the overall public of Balochistan. He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from PP-43 Quetta.

The delegation included central councilor Haji Gul Hassan Lango, senior leader Haji Agha Mohammad Lango, general secretary of the Tehsil president Akhtar Lango, unit secretary of Killi Alamoo Haji Long Khan Nechari, Faiz Mohammad, Mohammad Shoaib, Shah Khalid, Mohammad Rauf, and Zahoor Ahmed. On this occasion, the provincial president of the National Party, Aslam Baloch, senior vice president Mir Shahwas Bizenjo, member of the provincial assembly Kalsoom Niaz Baloch, and Riyaz Baloch Takri Saddam Lango were also present.

The delegation briefed Dr. Malik Baloch about the political situation, issues, and challenges in the PB-43 constituency. Dr. Malik Baloch expressed concern over the weakening of democracy in the country, stating that the current state of affairs has led to the erosion of public trust in democracy and parliament. However, he added that political stability and prosperity are inherently linked to a robust democracy.

Dr. Malik Baloch emphasized that until Pakistan is steered toward becoming a welfare state, with a strengthened democracy, and until the Election Commission and Parliament are empowered, and the judiciary is made independent, the country will continue to face worsening economic instability, political unrest, and increasing political alienation and extremism.

He reassured the delegation that efforts would be made to organize and strengthen the National Party in PB-43, Quetta, and across Balochistan, ensuring the party’s success and addressing the issues facing the people of the region.
