PTI Denies Deal Offer to Imran Khan, Says Ready for Talks But Demand Judicial Commission

Peshawar: PTI spokesperson Sheikh Waqas Akram has dismissed reports suggesting that a deal was offered to party founder Imran Khan and that he accepted it. Speaking to media representatives at the High Court, Akram said that such claims published in some newspapers are baseless and misleading.
“There has been no such offer, nor has Imran Khan accepted any deal,” he stated. “Imran Khan believes in dialogue, and we are open to negotiations. However, it is unacceptable to expect us to agree without the formation of a judicial commission.”
Commenting on allegations regarding the misuse of corruption funds from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in PTI protests and the events of May 9, Akram termed the accusations “ridiculous.” He challenged critics to ask any KP representative and demanded evidence before making such claims.
“Labeling PTI with such baseless accusations is nothing short of a joke. Prove the corruption first,” he added.
