Balochistan University Employees Association Holds Emergency Meeting to Address Staff Concerns

Quetta:A crucial meeting of the Cabinet officials and Executive Committee members of the Balochistan University Employees Association (BUEA) was held under the chairmanship of President Shah Ali Bugti. The meeting saw a large participation of cabinet officials and executive committee members.

During the meeting, serious concerns were raised over the current situation at the university, particularly regarding the recurring delay in the disbursement of monthly salaries and the unjustified cuts in approved allowances for employees. The members expressed their disappointment and frustration over these issues.

It was unanimously decided in the meeting to immediately arrange a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of the university. Following this decision, the association representatives met with the Vice Chancellor, who has scheduled a meeting for tomorrow, Friday, at 11 AM. The representatives expressed their gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for this timely response.

After the meeting with the Vice Chancellor, the Employees Association has called for another meeting on Monday at 11 AM at their office, where all cabinet officials and executive committee members will discuss the outcome and further steps.

The association remains committed to resolving the issues faced by the employees and will continue to take necessary steps to ensure their rights are protected.
