Fuel Prices Update: Petrol Rate Unchanged, Diesel Reduced by Rs2 per Liter

ISLAMABAD:The federal government has announced revised fuel prices for the next 15 days, keeping the petrol price unchanged while reducing the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs2 per liter. The new rates will be effective from May 16.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol will remain at **Rs252.63 per liter**, while the new price of HSD will be **Rs254.64 per liter** after the reduction.

In addition to diesel, the prices of other petroleum products have also been decreased:

* **Kerosene oil** has been reduced by **Rs5.04**, bringing the new price to **Rs164.65 per liter**.
* **Light diesel oil (LDO)** has seen a cut of **Rs4.68**, with the new price set at **Rs150.65 per liter**.

Officials stated that the decision was made in light of changes in international oil prices and domestic financial factors. The Ministry of Finance reaffirmed its commitment to reviewing fuel prices every 15 days to provide possible relief to the public.
