Intermittent Snowfall Continues in Mountainous Areas of KP, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan continue to experience intermittent snowfall in their mountainous regions, intensifying cold weather conditions.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dir district, tourists headed to the Lowari Tunnel to enjoy the snowfall. Following snowfall in Swat, Kalam, Malam Jabba and surrounding areas, mountains were covered in a blanket of white snow, creating scenic views.
Light rain was reported in various areas of Abbottabad and the Galiyat region, leading to a noticeable drop in temperature and an increase in cold intensity. Cloudy weather and rainfall were also recorded in Peshawar and several other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Azad Kashmir, the upper areas of Neelum Valley were covered with snow. Intermittent snowfall continues in Upper Neelum, Arang Kel and nearby localities.
Meanwhile, snowfall has been ongoing since last night in the upper areas of Chilas, further intensifying the cold weather in the region.
