CM Balochistan Chairs Review Meeting on Healthcare Progress in Collaboration with Indus Hospital

Quetta:A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti to assess the progress on healthcare services being provided in the province through the collaboration between the provincial government and Indus Hospital.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Secretary Health Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panizai, Director General Health Dr. Ameen Khan Mandokhail, and officials from Indus Hospital who participated via video link.
Indus Hospital officials briefed the participants on the ongoing developments and healthcare facilities being established in various parts of Balochistan, particularly in Sui and Bekar. The Chief Minister emphasized the provincial government’s full support in ensuring housing and facilities for doctors and medical staff.
He directed that the hiring process for doctors and consultants must be completed without delay and stressed that no laxity will be tolerated in this regard. The Chief Minister also announced that he would personally visit Sui and Bekar next month to inspect the facilities.
He reiterated that providing quality healthcare at people’s doorsteps remains a top priority for the provincial government, and all efforts are being made to ensure the availability of efficient medical services across Balochistan.
