PTI Leader Zartaj Gul Acquitted in Azadi March Cases by Islamabad Court

Islamabad – The District and Sessions Court in Islamabad has acquitted **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)** leader **Zartaj Gul** in two cases related to the Azadi March, citing insufficient evidence.

The verdict was announced by **Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti**, who had earlier reserved the decision after hearing arguments from both sides. The court ruled that the prosecution failed to present adequate evidence against Gul, leading to her acquittal.

The court has adjourned the hearing of other co-accused in the same cases until **May 27**.

Zartaj Gul, a senior PTI parliamentary leader, was facing charges registered at **Bara Kahu Police Station**. Several other key PTI leaders, including the party founder, have already been acquitted in related cases.

This acquittal marks another legal relief for PTI leaders amid ongoing political and judicial proceedings tied to their participation in protest activities.
