New York: Bollywood’s beloved actress Kiara Advani made her debut at the prestigious Met Gala 2025, leaving fans in awe with her stunning appearance. She turned heads as she proudly showcased her pregnancy in a beautiful outfit designed by renowned Indian designer, Gaurav Gupta.
Kiara wore a black off-shoulder gown, complemented by a golden heart-shaped plate. The heart, connected to a smaller heart, was placed strategically to highlight her baby bump. The two hearts were linked together by a golden chain, forming an imaginative umbilical cord symbolizing the connection between mother and child.
Designer Gaurav Gupta shared on Instagram that the creation was a tribute to Kiara Advani’s boldness, heritage, and new beginnings. He explained that Kiara’s pregnancy added depth to the design, as the golden heart structure represented the bond between mother and child, symbolizing the journey of heritage passed down through generations.
In addition to the gown, Kiara wore a white cap inspired by fashion critic André Leon Talley’s iconic 2010 Met Gala look. According to the designer, the cap served as both a protector and a tribute.
Although Kiara’s husband, actor Siddharth Malhotra, did not attend the event, he showed immense support for his wife by reposting her Met Gala pictures on his Instagram story as soon as she shared them.
Kiara Advani not only impressed with her fashion sense but also celebrated the beginning of a new chapter in her life. This year, she joined other Bollywood A-listers, including Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and singer Diljit Dosanjh, at the Met Gala.
It’s worth noting that the Met Gala is an exclusive event, with invitations sent by Anna Wintour, the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue, who has been presiding over the event since 1995.
