PTI’s Barrister Saif Demands Inclusion of Imran Khan in National Decision-Making

PESHAWAR – Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former KP Information Advisor Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has emphasized that for the sake of national security and political stability, PTI’s founding chairman Imran Khan must be included in all key national consultations and decision-making processes.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Barrister Saif stated that excluding the most popular political leader and the head of Pakistan’s largest political party from national briefings renders such initiatives incomplete and ineffective. “Any consultation without Imran Khan is contrary to the spirit of national unity,” he said.
He further demanded the withdrawal of “fabricated and baseless” cases against Imran Khan, calling for his immediate inclusion in the national political mainstream. “At a time when the country desperately needs unity and reconciliation, the only way forward is to release the PTI founder and ensure his participation in shaping the country’s future,” Saif added.
Barrister Saif also launched a scathing attack on the current government, accusing it of being formed on a “fake mandate” and ruling through authoritarianism. “This regime has failed to unify the people and instead has deepened divisions in the nation,” he claimed.
He warned that lasting national unity cannot be achieved through repression of the country’s largest political force. “The fascist attitude towards PTI must end if we are to move toward genuine dialogue and reconciliation,” he concluded.
His remarks come amid ongoing political tensions in Pakistan, where reports suggest that some opposition figures may be brought into consultations by state institutions — but questions are being raised over the continued exclusion of PTI’s top leadership.
