Top Political Leaders to Receive National Security Briefing Today
ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar and Director General of ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry will brief leaders of all major political parties today on the prevailing national security situation.
According to the Ministry of Information, the briefing will cover key areas including defense preparedness, diplomatic initiatives, and the state’s official stance on recent developments. The session aims to ensure that the political leadership is well-informed and united on matters of national interest.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a session of the National Assembly on Monday, where the ongoing situation between Pakistan and India is expected to be discussed.
The briefings and parliamentary discussions come amid heightened regional tensions, underscoring the government’s efforts to maintain a unified national approach.
