Girl Flees Home After Committing Theft Over Forced Marriage Dispute; Arrested with Stolen Valuables

Kasur: A girl who wanted to marry of her own choice but was denied permission by her parents, fled from her home after committing theft and has now been arrested, police confirmed.
According to reports, the Childrens Hospital Police Checkpost conducted a routine check and found the girl sitting at a bus stop behaving suspiciously. Upon questioning, she initially attempted to mislead the police but failed.
The girl, a resident of Kasur, wanted to marry someone of her choice, which her parents opposed. Police recovered stolen gold jewelry, cash, and other valuables from her possession.
The concerned police station has been notified of her arrest. SP Akhlaq Ullah Tarar urged citizens to report any suspicious persons or activities immediately by calling the police helpline 15.
