Pakistan Successfully Conducts Training Test of Ababeel Weapon System with 450 km Target Range

Islamabad: Pakistan has successfully conducted a training test of the Ababeel Weapon System, a surface-to-surface missile capable of hitting targets up to 450 kilometers. According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the purpose of this test was to assess the operational readiness of the military and to evaluate key technical aspects of the missile, including its advanced navigation system and enhanced maneuverability capabilities.
The test was conducted as part of the “Indus” exercise, with senior officers from the Army Strategic Forces Command, the Strategic Plans Division, and Pakistan’s strategic institutions, including scientists and engineers, observing the trial.
The ISPR statement also mentioned that the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the heads of all the armed forces congratulated the officers, scientists, and engineers involved in the successful trial. The leadership expressed full confidence in the operational preparedness and technical expertise of Pakistan’s strategic forces, emphasizing their ability to safeguard the nation’s security and maintain effective defense capabilities.
