Modern Maternal and Child Health Unit Inaugurated in Chagai Through Collaboration Between Reko Diq Mining Company and Indus Hospital

Quetta: Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC), in collaboration with Indus Hospital & Health Network, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art maternal, newborn, and child health unit at the Community Health Center in the village of Hamei, located in Chagai district.
The newly established unit offers round-the-clock maternity services, female medical officers, neonatal care, family planning services, immunizations, and awareness programs aimed at improving community health.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, RDMC General Manager Ryan Mitchell stated that providing improved healthcare services and uplifting local communities is a core component of the company’s sustainable development goals. He emphasized that the new health unit will significantly enhance access to quality medical care for the people of Hamei.
The event was attended by officials from RDMC and Indus Hospital, along with local community leaders.
