Pakistan’s Hajj Mission Director Announces Comprehensive Arrangements for Pilgrims in 2025

Karachi, Pakistan** – Abdul Wahab Soomro, the Director General of Pakistan’s Hajj Mission, has confirmed that this year’s arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims in Mecca and Medina will offer state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage experience. The preparations are part of a comprehensive strategy to provide the best possible services for Hajj 2025.
In a recent statement, Soomro highlighted the government’s initiative to introduce a *short Hajj package* last year, which offers pilgrims private rooms with 2 or 3 beds, ensuring greater privacy and convenience. He stated that under this scheme, additional accommodations have been made available for 88,380 pilgrims, including modern tents in Mina equipped with air conditioners, sofa mattresses, storage cabinets, and gypsum board fittings.
Soomro also introduced the new *Pak Hajj Mobile App*, designed to assist pilgrims in finding their tents in Mina and Arafat. The app aims to help Hajj pilgrims navigate these sacred sites with ease, further enhancing their overall experience.
In his statement, the Director General emphasized the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Minister of Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, and Secretary of Religious Affairs Dr. Syed Ata-ur-Rehman, who have guided the Hajj Mission in creating a comprehensive plan to serve Allah’s guests in the best possible manner.
“The arrangements for transport, accommodation, and food services have been finalized to ensure that pilgrims do not face any difficulties during their spiritual journey,” Soomro added.
This year, under the dynamic leadership of DG Hajj, Abdul Wahab Soomro, the 2025 Hajj operation is progressing successfully. Key improvements include coordination with Saudi institutions providing services, the provision of double meals in Medina, new buses, and family room accommodations. These efforts are crucial in enhancing this year’s Hajj, making it a far better experience than in previous years.
At the airports in Mecca, Medina, and Jeddah, the Pakistan Hajj Mission team is working tirelessly to ensure the highest level of service to the pilgrims. All these developmental measures reflect the mission’s commitment to providing Pakistani pilgrims with the best Hajj experience this year.
