Balochistan CM Lauds Teachers’ Role in Shaping Future, Pledges Continued Support for Education Reforms

In a recent meeting with a delegation from the Balochistan Education Alliance, Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sardar Farrukh Baloch, emphasized the vital role of teachers in shaping the future of the province’s children. The meeting, held in Quetta, was attended by provincial ministers Noor Muhammad Damar, Mir Shoyab Ahmed Nosherwani, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Senator Shah Zeeb Durani, Secretary of Education Saleh Muhammad Nasir, Secretary of Higher Education Saleh Baloch, and representatives from various teachers’ organizations.
During the discussion, the Chief Minister acknowledged the need for reforms in the education sector, describing teachers as the “architects of our children’s future.” He highlighted the importance of education reforms in improving the quality of education in Balochistan. “Through reforming the Balochistan Textbook Board, we have saved approximately one billion rupees for the provincial treasury,” said the CM.
The Chief Minister also shared plans for a provincial scholarship program aimed at promoting merit and strengthening the Balochistan Board. “We will seek suggestions from teachers to further empower the board and improve the educational infrastructure,” he added.
Expressing his deep respect for teachers, the Chief Minister reassured the delegation that the provincial government is committed to providing full support for the development of education in Balochistan. He recognized the immense contributions of teachers in shaping the future of the province’s youth.
Teachers in the delegation praised the Chief Minister’s special focus on education and reforms in the sector, expressing hope that these steps would lead to significant improvements in the quality of education.
